Many of you have asked exactly how to use every aspect of the SureShot. Here's how it works!
My name is Judy. l am an entrepreneur with several successful ventures under my belt. While enjoying my semi-retirement, I wanted to play pool, as I have always enjoyed it, but found that after years of not playing regularly, I couldn't make a solid bridge anymore. In my case, weakness in my ring and pinkie fingers, caused by a car accident, prevented me from achieving critical positioning and placement of my bridge-hand.
This frustrating turn of events hampered my learning and enjoyment of the sport greatly in the following months. One night, I was sitting at a table watching others play and someone picked up the head of a bridge to use on a shot. The idea occurred to me to tape a "moose-head" (bridge) to the back of my hand, thus negating the need for the dexterity that I lacked...and the SureShot device was born!
The SureShot is easy and comfortable to handle, use and wear. It is safe for your cue, legal in tournament play and it's small enough to fit in your pocket!
Patent #10625143
10. Mechanical Bridges The primary consideration for determining whether a mechanical bridge is legal is that it supports the cue, as opposed to elevating the bridge hand above the bed of the table or significantly enhancing the stability of the hand holding the bridge. The particular construction of the bridge is not relevant as long as it does no more than support the cue, and does not damage the table or other equipment. Items that are not considered disqualifying include, but are not limited to:
The overall size, or the height of grooves above the bed of the table; whether there is a handle, sliding extensions, wheels, or accommodations to straddle balls; the shape of grooves; whether the grooves have linings or mechanisms to retain the cue in the groove.
